2020/2021 "Rise Up"- Hailey Korczynski - Our very first honored student is 15 years old. She began at Elements as a NEW dance student. Her friend recommended that she try it, so she tried some Acrobatic classes in the Summer 2020. In Fall 2020 she joined Acro and Jazz and by December was in Hip Hop as well.

I remember having a conversation with her Mom about her wanting to quit jazz because she was frustrated. I convinced her to keep trying. Her work ethic is so strong that I knew she'd be fine. So she did. Not only did she stay in all three classes, but she has excelled rapidly and you would never know that this was her first year dancing. She has been recognized by other teachers on our Team that don't even teach her, as one who "stands out" and "is incredible."

Week after week she would cheer on her classmates when they needed a little push and when they accomplished a new skill, would be genuinely happy for them. She would always rush to someone in need. One week a girl was outside crying because she forgot a mask, and Hailey ran to her Dad's car to give her a disposable one. She is kind, passionate and shows a ton of compassion for others.

She is wonderful and I can't wait to see what the following years hold for her in dance, acro and growth. We love you inside and out.
