Elements Dance Center is owned and directed by Charity Carrig in Hamburg, NY. Offering many classical and contemporary dance styles in a professional and progressive way. We provide a unique space for individuals to learn and grow using movement and music. We are much more than just a great dance class. We operate within our core values. Our values include passion, professionalism, inclusion, respect, creativity and community.

MISSION STATEMENT:

Our goal is to offer a family friendly, safe environment for students of all ages to learn to express themselves, gain self esteem and choose a healthy lifestyle. We want every dancer to be in their element. We also understand that not every child will choose dance as a career, and that's okay. We commit to giving every child the same amount of love and dedication as the next. We will give them tools to use in all aspects of life. Confidence, leadership skills, creative thinking and relationships that will last a lifetime.

WHAT MAKES US SO DIFFERENT?

We offer a number of full season, mini sessions and special courses. If you like to be on stage or not, there is a class at Elements for you. We are all about OPPORTUNITIES. We have our values and we have built a culture that you'll want your dancer to be apart of. Here is a list of things we do that makes us a little different. 

• We dedicate a whole week to our PARENTS. We celebrate with prizes, games and thanks you gifts. 

• We have SPIRIT WEEKS. It breaks up the monotonous of a weekly schedule. The students love it.

• We have student appreciation week. We want them to know that we love them too. 

• We do an end of the year awards. All students participating in our September-June program receive pins, medals and trophies. Acknowledging each child individually for their accomplishments.

• We are developing a health and wellness program within our curriculum. We think mental and social health is just as important as physical health. Offering art and dance therapy classes. 

• We have small class sizes. It allows the teachers to connect and give each student the individual attention they need to improve.

• J.A.M. program. - (Junior Apprentice Mentor) Teachers can hand select older students and ask them to become assistants.

• We've created a "Dancer's in Need Fund", that helps with unexpected tragedies within our studio. We are able to provide help with tuition, shoes, dancewear and more.

Elements Dance Center is place where kids of all ages shapes and sizes learn to dance and perform. This is a studio where creativity, individuality and self-expression are encouraged and has a community of teachers, students and families who are passionate about performing arts. Our goal is to create a positive and happy experience for all our students. We strive to nurture and develop talent, celebrate the achievements of all students and inspire a love and appreciation of all styles of dance and the arts.
